As an experienced creative leader, I can:

  • help conceptualize the visual direction of your project, campaign or brand.

  • bring all the necessary people together – photographers, videographers, location scouts, set designers, stylists, hair and makeup artists – with precise direction to ensure the creative vision is realized.

  • create decks for pitches or presentations.

  • manage contracts, releases, deadlines and invoices.

  • research and license images.

  • make sure the entire scope of the project is delivered on time and within budget.

A veteran director, producer, and editor for more than 20 years at ESPN, I talked trash to Kevin Garnett, was body-slammed TWICE by Kimbo Slice, convinced Alex Smith to wrap a very large snake around his body, and snagged an unexpected fastball from CC Sabathia right before it raised my voice a couple octaves. I even caught a touchdown pass at Super Bowl XXXIX in Jacksonville (sure, it was in the empty stadium after the game, but I’m still counting it!). And I was there when the Red Sox swept my beloved Cardinals to break the curse of the Bambino…but at least I got a photo with Jimmy Fallon after he filmed the final scene of Fever Pitch.

During my career, I’ve helped tell a wide range of stories and employed approaches that run the gamut – photojournalism, portraiture, fashion, lifestyle, architecture, sports action, still life, sequence and video. I have produced and directed award-winning visuals for print and digital, and led a busy, deadline-driven photo team in the newsroom at ESPN.com. I bring passion and agility to storytelling, while fostering an atmosphere of collaboration.
